The borough of Calderdale spans the towns of Brighouse, Elland, Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.

Current activity

At the present time The Things Network coverage is available in the mid part of the Upper Calder Valley. However, it is hoped that over time the network will be extended to cover many other areas of Calderdale.

SMEs and entrepreneurs that are based in the region and are developing — or have identified opportunities for — IoT and M2M applications are invited to apply to participate in the Calderdale LPWAN Boost.

Things Calderdale is supported by the organisations listed at the bottom of this page and the website itself is managed by AB Open Ltd.

However, these resources are being provided as a platform for signposting all IoT and LPWAN activities in the borough and if you have details of a relevant initiative that is not listed, please do get in touch.
